The meeting on Saturday, 25th June will be from 1pm until 3pm. David and I will be there from around noon enjoying a bowl of Ben's excellent salad. You are welcome to join us if you have the extra time. :0)
The Wednesday meeting will be a little shorter, from 7.30pm until 9.00pm, but there is an accoustic jam session in the cafe itself and members may wish to stay on for a while. Numbers vary from week to week but it is always a pleasant evening.
It occurred to me that people may wish to use the comments facility here as a means of a) reporting their 'input and output' (as discussed at the meeting) and b) just generally keeping in touch. Please feel free to do so.

Confirmed Times and Use of the Comment Facility

Confirmed Times of the Next Two Meetings and Other Information
The next two meetings of the group will be on Saturday, 25th June from 1pm until 3pm and Wednesday, 13th July from 7.30pm until 9pm.
We have agreed a 'sub' of £2 per meeting to cover the cost of the room. Tea and coffee - and other more stimulating beverages - will be available from the cafe. On Wednesdays, there is usually a meeting of local musicians and some members may wish to stay on to listen.
I will shortly be circulating a list which shows the e mail addresses of those members who which to participate in the exchange of work for the purposes of comment and discussion. We have agreed that work should be sent to other members no later than seven days before the meeting. We have further agreed that, as a matter of courtesy, we should try to avoid overloading fellow members with excessively long pieces of work. As a rough guide, I would suggest no more than 40 lines of poetry or 3,000 words of prose. I envisage that longer pieces of work might be read and discussed by prior arrangement and perhaps over a somewhat extended reading period.
